I've a rather long list - so here are some highlights.

My all round favourite acomplished individual (who must be a national treasure!) -actor, writer, comedian, author, television presenter and film director - to name a few of his occupations :D:

Mr. Stephen Fry

I'm addicted to QI (excellent assortment of top knotch comedians on that programme)

Dara O'Briain (coincidently, I literally received his new book Tickling the English in the post today)

Pick most of the panel of Mock the Week

Robin Williams (no, not Robie - Robin)

Dylan Moran

David Mitchell/ Robert Webb (in all permutations - together, single, stand-up, on telly/ radio). Who knew Webb could dance (and cut such a fine figure!) Yes, my copy of This Mitchell and Webb Book arrived today in the same parcel!! ;D

Whoopi Goldberg (again, one of those multi-talented sorts who act as well - The Color Purple ring any bells?)

That's good for a start - really, I've loads more...

I don't know if people here know about Conan O'Brien or his recent troubles, but his farewell-speech really resonated with me. Probably because I just lost my job. I was watching it tonight, and the bit (about 3,5 minutes into the video) where he talks about cynicism literally brought tears to my eyes. And I'm talking about real tears here, sobbing and all. I recommend a viewing, even if you haven't watched Conan before.

This is the first time I've seen him this serious, btw. Who knew he works as an inspirational speaker as well!

I think it's also because he seems so genuinely affected by the response of fans, that he words ring true.
