There seems to be a few of us going on the 7th of June - that's when i'm going too! ;D

We should wear some kind of symbol (like a flower on a blind date) so we can all spot each other and say hello! :)

Whats On Stage is reporting that Juliet Aubrey has left the cast of Betrayal due to 'unforseen circumstances' and Ruth Gemmell is to play Emma.... http://www.whatsonstage.com/news/theatre....ffield+Theatres'+Betrayal.html

Oh wow, that's got to be a little disconcerting for the actors, having a new actor (essentially one-third of the cast) come in just two weeks before the first preview performance... Hope it all works out for the best.

Wow, that was short-lived casting. Ms. Aubrey was just announced in mid March. ::)

Well the snooker at the Crucible is over.
Bring on Betrayal ;D

It seemed somewhat funny watching tonight's last game and thinking in only 17 days I'll seeing Betrayal for real :o

A special deal has just been announced for Crucible Theatre tickets:

To celebrate the Crucible’s 40th birthday year, Sheffield Theatres has teamed up with East Midlands Trains to offer first time theatre bookers a unique opportunity to experience great theatre for only forty pence on Friday performances at the Crucible Theatre.

The initiative, First Time Fridays, has been made possible thanks to the generous support of East Midlands Trains. Their sponsorship enables the theatre to offer forty tickets priced at forty pence for each Friday performance during a production run in the Crucible. East Midlands Trains' First Time Fridays is designed to encourage new audiences who have never been to the Crucible before to try out the experience of live theatre.

New theatre bookers can currently buy up to two forty pence tickets for a Friday performance of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal, a heartbreaking comment on love and relationships staring John Simm (May), on at the Crucible Theatre from Thursday May 17 – Saturday June 9.

East Midlands Trains are also principal partners of The Future 40 Fund – Sheffield Theatre’s Fundraising initiative to raise money during the Crucible’s 40th Anniversary year. Audiences can support Sheffield Theatres by booking train tickets through East Midlands Trains website East Midlands Trains.

East Midlands Trains First Time Fridays tickets can be purchased from Sheffield Theatres’ Box Office in-person or by phone on 0114 249 6000.

This is going to sound reeeaaallly anal but I think I recognise those socks from the 'Exile' photoshoot..... :-[ *embarrassed*.

This time next week I will be just days away from seeing the play ;D:o
