Thanks for that UTD. I'll try and have a look.

I've got my tickets booked. So excited! Can relax now and try not to wish my time away.

He's a key witness. So could you treat him like a person, Phyllis. D'you remember "people"? You used to be one!

Congrats! :)

I thought the documentary was intriguing - especially how you see actors rehearse Pinter's work as he's watching and giving them advice. Incidentally, they don't really mention Betrayal in the documentary, so it is completely spoiler-free. I'm really happy I watched this because it has given me a lot of anticipation for this production of Betrayal - to see how it is performed. Looking forward to see how the dramatic pauses are interpreted - or 'the curse of Pinter' according to Pinter's wife... LOL

I must give this a look later on - thanks for sharing the link, UTD! It's too late for me to avoid spoilers, though - I read the play a while back, LOL!

I notice (from the Sheffield Theatres website) that full casting for Betrayal will be announced in the new year, so hopefully not long before we have more news on that. It will be interesting to see who John's co-stars are.

I've been wondering who John's co-stars are going to be too for awhile. As Olenza put it will be interesting to find out who they are.

So according to JS on Twitter, Colin Tierney will also be in Betrayal. Can't wait to find out who else! :)

The Crucible Theatre has tweeted today -
We are experiencing problems with online sales. Please call us on 0114 249 6000 to book seats. We will advise when the problem is fixed.

Do you suppose that's a direct result of Betrayal being mentioned in the Sunday Times, What's On Stage, and John's own message re one of his co-stars?

I hope that was my tweet John was responding to; I asked him who else was cast in Betrayal and he answered! Coincidence? I think not! ;D

Really pleased about the casting of Colin Tierney - they did have a natural rapport in Hamlet I thought ;D

Jinxed, yes, that's brilliant news- they did work well together didn't they!

PP, I'm sure you're right and that John was responding (albeit publicly rather than directly to you) to your question. Well done for asking it!

;D Possibly this belongs in the tweets thread, but thought you might all like to know that John has just RT'd (Re-tweeted) a Pinter quote... O won't quote it here in case its from Betrayal as I know some of you are avoiding spoilers, but I couldn't resist mentioning it!

;D

Been AWOL for a while but just calling in to say - YAY!! ;D Colin!!

I stood and chatted to him for ages at the stage door after Hamlet (whilst waiting for John) and he was just one of the sweetest guys ever.

I fell in love a little bit.

Then John came out :P
