I just love the look of pure bewilderment that sometimes crosses Sams face when he is having problems understanding what's going on.

Episode one, series one, the wake up scene
God, that has got to be one of the most emotional scenes in the programme.
I could just reach into the tv set and hug Sam as he's struggling to make sense of what's going on. It's the vulnerability thing again. It gets me every time :-*

Evenstar, I just need to tell you how seriously distracted I am by your avatar. Big Karma to you!

Oh to be Mrs Saxon. I keep watching THAT kiss on Youtube clips and on the DVD and crikey what a kiss it is! In fact each time he kisses Lucy in the two episodes it's really full on and passionate, completely the opposite to his 'Annie' kiss in LOM.

Maybe I should go and make a scientific study of every screen kiss he's ever done. It'll be a tough assignment but someone's gotta do it. ;D

The reason we like Sam Tyler is because he's part of us, in a way.
He's from our time, he has our insecurities, all the things he misses when he's in the 70's like mobile phones etc, it's things that we would miss too. He's the new guy trying to fit in, to find his place in the world, and we can relate to that.

I think that makes sense. If not.........move along people, there's nothing to see here!

Sorry, I really feel the shirts need another mention! With the sleeves rolled up, showing thse lovely arms, makes my heart skip a beat! Shows he means business I think!!!

I absolutely adore a pale blue and white striped shirt he wears in series two. (the episode with the suspected IRA bombings). My, does he look damn fine in it. Lovely, long cuffs, tight fitting body.........Phew!

I could write a book all about the effects those shirts have on me. I'm also partial to the little number Sam wears in the episode where they take over the running of the pub.
