You buy the Rumpole of the Bailey complete DVDs for your mom because you know she (and your dad) love the series...but really you're thinking about your visit home in March and how you'll get to watch THAT episode...

You completely & utterly[ do not notice the car in the pool the first time you watch the Mad Dogs promo because you're far more focused what's not in the pool.

You record random programmes on Sky so you can watch the adverts for the MD promos - still haven't seen it on the telly

snorkie - if it's any consolation I don't think any of us noticed the car

The article said the promos are being shown on Dave as well. It's a good job I like watching re-runs of QI and Mock the Week. I haven't seen it on TV yet though.

Oh good. I've not had that much chance to watch Dave this week. I should stand a chance though as they do love to re-run things over and over again including the adverts!

You go to Ramsbottom where he is 'supposed to be filming Exile that day' in the hope of a brief meet up (no joy though as the filming had been rescheduled to two days earlier) Still got to see the location.

You buy a Kindle just so you can download hundreds/thousands of "pages" of PDFs and Word docs containing any and all Simm-related fanfic. I sh!t you not.

It's so nice to have a place to share this information with others and not feel like a total div! :-*

You buy a copy of every single weekend newspaper for the Saturday and Sunday preceding the first airing/opening night of any new John Simm related project, earning you some very odd looks from the checkout staff and the occasional query about whether you're a journalist....
