According to Twitter, Mad Dogs has been nominated for a BAFTA Craft Award. Good exposure but still hoping for more than just Craft Awards, brilliant as they are. ;D

Edit- Update..
Max Beesley today on Loose Women says they are filming Series 2 in June ;D ;D ;D

Yeah, wesseling - looks like you're in luck! Much as I was hoping to see the Fab Four when I visit Mallorca at the beginning of next month, I guess I'll be there too early. :'(
However, I'll certainly try to find the gated villa, the crossroads, the unpaved track into the hills and other locations. Perhaps some production people will be there early, setting up....

According to a post on TRA, Mad Dogs 2 begins filming in June. I can't open the following but most of you can:

Mad Dogs is a Bafta TV award nominee. It's in the Drama Series category along with Any Human Heart, The Sinking of the Laconia and The Promise.

Congrats!

Don't call me disloyal, but I am torn - I really loved Any Human Heart... Don't make me choose, 'cos I certainly want Mad Dogs to be recognised!! ???

I'm not sure I want Mad Dogs to win, actually. Although I thought it was great, I didn't think it was the greatEST. It would be a shame, I think, for Mad Dogs to get a BAFTA when Life on Mars didn't. But I suppose looking for fairness in awards ceremonies is ridiculous anyway... I always think it's an honour to be nominated and that winning itself is pretty arbitrary. Although, if I was the one nominated for something, I'd definitely want to win! :)
