Yes, I'm sorry too. Mean ol' Superintendent! >:( Those who are going will share the whole experience with you on this forum--of course--but it's not the same, is it.

What a shame imaof4 :( I'm really hoping Digital Theatre record the show - their downloadable productions of Macbeth & Much Ado are fantastic, and not too expensive.

Thanks all for kind words of support!! [image]

It's only in here that I'm amongst those who who can truly understand my pain and disappointment. In the 'real world', it's only a play, featuring an actor I've seen before...!!

Won't hold out too much hope for a digital version...they haven't picked up any of John's previous theatre work, but it would be nice, even if can't compare to a live performance.

And I have taken advantage of the opportunity to download Macbeth and Much Ado. ;D

:( I'm so sorry to hear that, Iamo4 - I know how much you were looking forward to it. I echo the wish for a digital version, but not optimistic.

So rehearsals are beginning! (see Simm tweets)
I thought it must be about that time - four weeks from this Thursday is the first preview performance!

Are we getting excited yet? ;D

John tweeted yesterday that he is heading to Sheffield in 'about three weeks time' - sounds as if they are doing all the rehearsals in London and decamping to Sheffield just days before the play opens! Mind you I think John and Colin would know the theatre pretty well after Hamlet last year (not sure about Juliet though).

Getting excited now.... ;D

Very sorry to hear that you've been having a bad time of it, kurdt01 - and glad to hear that things are getting better. So you will be there for the first performance on 17th May?
