;D What brilliant photos of you all - its lovely to be able to put faces to names! Would love to know forum names for you all (apart from the ones already mentioned)!

Yes, I can see John and Colin in the top photo, John has his back to the camera :)

I really like the relaxed and easy atmosphere at the Corner and that the cast are happy to mingle - it certainly adds that extra bit of zing to an already great experience, doesn't it.

Kurdt01 - Thanks for posting those group pics at the Crucible Corner. I couldn't believe it when we first got talking and you mentioned the name of this forum and gave your username and then I gave mine. Then you introduced me to other forum members of this site and TRA. Was that only 7 days ago today? It was truly enjoyable evening.

That first pic that has John and Colin on it is lovely. It's just a real shame that John had back to the camara.

I too have some pics taken the following evening at the Crucible Corner, which I will get round to posting eventually :) (i'll even get round to doing my Betrayal write-up sometime) Both John and Colin with the rest of the cast were there too ;D (Infact John and Colin did pass our table when they were leaving) Having the cast there certainly did add that extra bit of zing to an already great experience. Apart from a few brief moments last Thursday when John stood quite nearby to the table I was sitting at none of the cast appeared at the Crucible Corner after the Friday and Saturday night performance. Their abscence was noticed!

Thanks for the photos everyone ;D I agree it is such a thrill to think they are standing/sitting/drinking just behind you :o I think I was still awake at 5am that night - far too excited to sleep. Would love to know who everyone is in the photo so I can picture faces when reading posts.

These stories are amazing !!! Thanks for sharing everyone. I'm going a week tonight and with 25 students too.....now; will I be brave enough to wait at the stage door?? Knowing me, no.....would I like to??? Yeah; sure but I'm sure he has a nicky-radar as whenever I have waited for him in the past, he's not shown.... :(

Wow, those are gorgeous - the third one down is particularly stunning. Thanks for sharing, PP :) . Shame we didn't get to meet, btw. Are you going again or are you all done now?

Two more days......going on Thursday and REALLY can't wait. Thanks for sharing all the pics of John at the stage door. I just have to find some courage and possibly allow myself to potentially be dragged along by some sixth form students who would love to see Miss meet her favourite actor!!!

Oh yes, Nicky - you absolutely MUST - there isn't a buzz quite like it! I'm sure one of your students would oblige, they seem very fond of you and I'm sure John would be very interested in knowing that you've brought your drama class to see the play! He's very kind at the stage door - this w/e I heard the tale of how he kindly asked to borrow someone's pen so he could sign the program for a fan whose own pen broke and who was a bit flustered and nervous - and asked her what her name was too so he could dedicate it, I believe! So be brave, you won't regret it! I'll be thinking of you on Thursday evening... :)

Piccies are gorgeous PP!! Third one looks silvery -was John glowing?

nicky, I would encourage you to go and attempt a meet and greet!! For me [image] , I was to go on 7 June, so it's a special date!!

I feel edzel2 is quite right that John would most likely be pleased to see drama students and their teacher. Even so, he has been quite gracious to his fans.

Nicky, that "buzz" that edzel2 mentions is real! Best to have someone nearby who will be able to recount what you said to John and what John said to you. Trust me, you'll be in a fog and remember very little of what happened. :) :(

I second both of the above comments! Together with actually seeing the play, seeing John up close at the stage door makes it an unforgettable experience. You will be :o :o :o for days.
